I loved this book so much. I say this because the author wrote it in such a way that stayed positive through the drama and chaos. Quinn’s story here satisfies all sides- conservative and liberal. She makes every character in here have a happy or a just ending which felt fair and reasonable. My favorite character of all is the title character. Even though she is a child of this new era in the world, she is kindhearted, naïve, and gentle in spirit.

Last but not the least, I do find inspiration from this book to live a spiritual, meditative life. I recommend it to all those who are considering the priesthood or nunnery, etc. For me, it has made me admire the religious life more and more. Now it does not mean I am going to be super pious and holier than thou, no. I will be humble, gentle, loving, prayerful, and a conscientious human like Jesus and be able to exist in this modern society we now live in. And that’s the beauty of Angeline. Amen.
