Recommendation:
This was such a fun and entertaining read for me! It reminds me so much of a certain celebrity who refuses to retire to remain the best in her field. There are some emotional scenarios where Soto and her ever-loyal trainer father are fighting over her goals and dreams. She has such a loving and supportive father it is so admirable. Then there are her inner thoughts and how funny and yet so cruel and ambitious at the same time. This fictional book takes place in the 70s, 80s, and 90s and the late Princess Diana makes a cameo.

If you’re looking for an exciting book to inspire you into striving for the best and achieving your goals, this book is it. Soto is fearless and relentless in her pursuit of her dreams. Her energy and mindset just makes you want to root for her success and longevity. In short, an apt role model for underdogs.
